The Miami Job Corps sits on 18 acres in Miami Gardens, Florida. The center offers job training in a live-in environment, so students can focus solely on their work. The center, operated by the US Department of Labor, wanted to cut their energy use at a large apartment building by installing a commercial grade solar thermal system.
The resident system is up and running and helping to significantly cut gas and electricity bill.
Collectors: 18 AET 40 collectors producing 33600 BTU per day of hot water.
